This is our 4th time to stay here on our way home or on our way to the mountains or to visit relatives in Birmingham. We like this campground. Very convenient! Friendly Staff. We will always stay here when in the area.

We usually go to Waynesville, N.C. in the Fall but stayed in Murphy, at this campground this time. It is beautiful. Level, concrete sites with all newer type electrical/cable TV/water/sewer type connections. Beautifully landscaped. We stayed in one of the back-in River sites, but most of the sites are long pull-thru. We would stay here again.

This is an older park that does need some updating. The sewer connections in the ground are too close to where the camper has to park. Plus there is almost always a sewer smell. They say they have Wi-Fi, but you do pay for it, unless you want to take your computer to the office each time you want to use it. There are very few sites with TV cable. Now the plus about this campground is staff is friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers were clean. We probably would not stay here again.

This is our second stay here, and we like it because it is clean, beautifully landscaped, close to town with friendly Staff. One of the best campgrounds anywhere. Our site is gravel but level. This will be where we stay any and every time we are in the area.

This is the best, or one of the best campgrounds anyplace. This is our second time here. The sites are long, concrete and level. The restrooms and showers are clean. The Wi-Fi works great. TV cable. Friendly Staff. Breakfast, also, if you want it. We will always stay here when in the area.

We like this campground! This is our fifth time here, and we will return whenever we get back to Cody. It's close to town, the museum and several good restaurants. Also it's a good location for seeing Yellowstone. They have clean restrooms and showers, and friendly staff.

We stayed here one night. The sites are gravel but fairly level. Wi-Fi works great and is free. Their cable TV is good, too. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here, again.

This was our second time to stay at this campground, and we will always plan on staying here when in the area. The restrooms and showers are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I do not give it a 10/10 is because the Wi-Fi did not work from our Site #63. We will request a site next time nearer the office. The sites are concrete and level, so a very good campground. And the weather was bad, so maybe that was the reason for the Wi-Fi not working.

There are a few good reasons to stay at this park, and they are 1. close to I-20 (even though bad road); 2. clean restrooms and showers; 3. sites are fairly level, but for us it stops there. Buck Creek Road is very narrow and has pot holes. We were in the third RV site ( fairly close to the one WI-FI antenna on the office building) but the WI-FI did not work. Asked the owner about it, and he said, "Mine is working". It would have been nice if he had been willing to reboot the system (it works in other campgrounds) but don't say you have WI-FI if it does not work. We do not own a pet, even though we do like dogs. There was one dog (very friendly) that had the run of the campground not on a leash. If campers are suppose to "ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY, they poop- YOU scoop" why are some (one in this case ) allowed to run free? No one was looking to see if the dog pooped or not. We made our reservations at this campground through the central reservation center, back on July 9th, when we were planning our trip, and this was one campground on our return home. It was charged to our credit on 7/09/2009. Buck Creek owner said he had no record of our reservation at the campground, but as I always do, I had the e-mail confirmation, showing it had been charged, plus I always carry the credit card statement, showing the charge, also. The owner did accept it, but don't know as he would have, had I not had all the paperwork with reservation and confirmation numbers with $0.00 balance. The trash dumpster was overflowing with garbage sacks on the surrounding ground, and yet we were advised "do not leave garbage outside overnight because of the critters". We will not stay here again.

We had a site on top of the hill with mountains behind us and reservoir down below. Concrete level pads, full hookups and extremely well kept. We did not use the showers, but did look at them. They are coin operated, so if you will need the facility, be prepared. Staff extremely friendly. Park well patrolled, so security is good. Some campers did not pick up after their dogs, but there are such idiots in all campgrounds. It's a beautiful State Park. There is no phone signal, nor TV, or Wi-Fi, but it's a great park. We paid $6.00/day, but then we live in Florida, so did not need an annual pass.

This is our first stay here (4 nights) but will not be our last. Staff - excellent! We were first given a site where the tree limbs were going to be a problem for us trying to level. They immediately gave us another site (Row C) at top of hill (no trees as we requested), and it was great!! Easy to level, too. Restrooms and showers clean and close by. Close to National Park. We will stay here in the future.

We stayed here in July 2007, and were in Site #6, which we liked. I made our Aug 2009 reservation back on June 25th, 2009 and requested #6, again. When we arrived today the lady in the office stated that Site #6 was booked. I asked for one of the sites in the row where #6 is located. We arrived at 1:00 PM, and she stated they were all booked. We looked and there was only one camper already in that row and it was in Site #7. We were staying for 3 nights, and I doubt seriously they were booked. There were only about 15 campers in the entire campground when we arrived. The campground is at the base of Devils Tower, so good location, but we will not stay here, again. The restrooms and showers are very old. Our hot water heater had broken, and we had to use the showers. The laundry had two working washers and 3 dryers. The sites are fairly level, but gravel. They do have pull thru sites. This park is overpriced, but, again in a great location. That all said, we will not camp here, again, because we do not like being lied to.

This campground has fairly level sites with full hookups including cable TV and Wi-Fi. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The only bad thing for us (and others who showed up expecting to stay the same night) there was no one in the office. We were told she was gone until the next day. We had called and made reservations back in July. We arrived early enough to get a good site, but other people who arrived were not so lucky. I did as the instructions said and left the money in an envelope and returned the restroom keys the next morning. Again I am just glad we arrived by 3 pm to be able to get a site. I would stay here again, just because it is an okay campground. They just need someone in the office.

This is an okay campground, but nothing special. Rather dusty, and the electric hookups are really weird. Can't use a surge protector because the plug-in is up under the top of the power pole. The staff was friendly, and the site was level: the reason for a 7, not lower.

This is our third stay at this campground. We like it here and stay whenever in the area. The only reason I do not give it 10/10 is some of the sites are a little difficult to level, but not bad. Bathrooms and showers spotless and Staff could not be better.

We like this campground for an overnight stay and have stayed here twice before. Sam, in the office, is very friendly and just a delightful person to talk with. His daughter checked us in and she has the same great personality. We were in Site #4 and it was level. We will definitely stay at this campground when in the area.

We were at this campground for a Rally, which we enjoyed. Staff excellent. Could not have asked for a better staff. Sites are very hard to level or ours was, and we heard the same from other people. For sure you do not want Site #100. Laundry the best we have seen. Good location.

We love this campground. It is right on Jonathan Creek with lots of beautiful ducks. This is our second time to be here from Fort Walton Beach, Florida and we will return as often as possible. The ladies in the office are wonderful. The bathrooms and showers very, very clean. The laundry room well kept with good working machines. There is a meeting room here, and they have scheduled events at the Recreation Hall, i.e. bingo, etc. We like a site right on the creek even if they do cost a little more - well worth it. We will return! (800) 862-8110

We booked one of the Super Sites for 4 nights and it was one of the best camp sites that we have seen. This campground is close to the Navy base but those airplanes flying over is music to our ears, knowing these great men and women are allowing us to keep our freedom. The airplanes were no problem at night. We were in town visiting relatives and will definitely stay at this campground whenever the opportunity arises.

We stayed here three nights and loved this RV park. It is quiet and we were in Site #12 with a wood deck beside it, overlooking the creek that runs through the campground. On Saturday night the owner, Tom Guy, invited all the campers to hear a local country/western singer, John Wesley Carpenter. He was excellent and sang or told us about himself and the area from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. Wonderful, unexpected entertainment. We bought one of his CDs, and were able to meet all of the others staying at the campground. Campground is within walking distance to New River, which we enjoyed, plus walking through a little town that probably once was very productive. We plan to return another year when the fall leaves are in full color. We camped here in a truck/camper, but the sites are large so motor homes would have no problems getting in or out. We usually stay in campgrounds that are pretty busy, so this was different and a great experience.

Very helpful friendly staff. Large new KOA and owners go out of their way to make sure all is okay. There were a lot of campers at this campground working on a pipeline, but no problem. Quiet hours were obeyed. Would stay here, again. We were in Site #4 and it was level.

This is second time to camp here, but will not be our last. We love it here! Close to the store, Yavapai Lodge Cafe where they do have great food, especially the cinnamon rolls during the breakfast hours. There are shuttles buses to take you anywhere in the part, colored coded routes, but we like to walk or hike, so did not take the shuttle this time. Trailer Village is just a short distance (good level trail) to the Canyon Rim Trail, where you can walk a mile or two in either direction and every view point has something different. Did not go down Bright Angel Trail, this time, but all of the other trails were worth every penny spent here. We were in H52 and a little hard to level, but hope to return many times in the future. Oh, you do have to keep your sewer hose put up when not in use due to the Ravens. All sites have full hookups so no showers in this campground.

Who cares about extra vegetation (it really is landscaped very well) when you can stay in a campground with level concrete pads, full hookups, free WI-FI, cable, clean, etc. This is our second time to stay here, and we drove an extra long time coming from the Grand Canyon to make this campground for two nights. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will be back to American RV. It is excellent.

Staff friendly and very helpful as far as how to get to Collin Street Bakery (we came this direction just to buy fruit cakes and goodies). Sites are long, paved and level. We were in Site 46 with full hookups, free WI-FI and even though no cable TV, were able to received a good number of channels from Dallas/Fort Worth. We will camp here, again.

There is nothing really wrong with this park. The bathrooms are clean. Staff friendly. Free WI-FI for 4 hours. No cable TV but a good number of channels anyway. I do not usually care to camp where there are permanent residence, and that is the only reason not a higher rating. The site was concrete and level. OK for an overnight stay. We were near the front of the campground but did not really experience a lot of noise from airport or trains.

This is a beautiful and excellent campground. We were in Site #221 and did not have a problem leveling our truck/camper.The sites all have concrete pads. The restrooms and laundry were clean, but not enough for size of this campground. There was one lady who had every washer and dryer tied up for hours. Friendly and helpful staff with, Irma in the office, going above board for us. We had made our reservation at the wrong campground and she helped us get it corrected. We will definitely stay here, again.

This is an excellent park. Concrete, level, long pads with plenty of space between each site. It is right at the Hollywood Casino and there is a shuttle every 10-15 minutes but we just walked. Also, as mentioned in a previous review, the casino has a great buffet you can enjoy, and on Wednesday "we senior adults" get the buffet 1/2 price. This is our first time to stay at this park, but will not be our last.

This is our first time at this KOA, but we will be back. We were in Site #117 right on the lake and it was full hookups, and Wi-Fi. We like this campground even with the noise of the trains all during the day and night. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and laundry. Our site was a little hard to level, but do not know about other sites. We camped in the camp sites nearer the train tracks, but other pull through sites were located to the back of the property. Very convenient for going to Big Ben, even though once in the Park, and at Panther Junction Visitor's Center, telling us that the only campground with hookups in park was full - it was not. However, think I would rather be in Marathon anyway. We camped in Site #19 in a truck/camper. We will return here whenever this way. Gage restaurant at the historic Gage Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the campground.

We like this campground. Has Cable TV, WIFI, and close to I-65. There are a lot of shade trees and the only reason that I do not give it 10/10 is because our site was not level, but everything else was great. Friendly staff and clean restrooms and showers even though we used our own. We camped here in a truck/camper, and will return when in the area.

This is a pretty COE park, but there are a lot of little, tiny ants. Be prepared to spray your camper before and after you leave. The lake was way down due to the drought in the South, but our grandsons did enjoy throwing rocks to see them splash when they could get close enough (due to the mud) to throw them into the water. We much prefer Red Top Mountain State Park. They have some full hookups, too, that the COE park does not offer.

I booked our reservation at this KOA campground because of the previous reviews, but I can assure you that this campground is not all that good, and we will not stay here again. Our site was not level and actually very difficult to level, plus very small and backed right up to the camper behind us. There are some beautiful shade trees but the campground is dusty and just too close to the site beside you, behind you and in front of you. As I said - we will not be staying here again.

This was our third time to camp at this COE campground. We have always stayed in Brown Point area with full hookups, but this time had to take a site with just electric and water. Our reserved site only had 108 voltage which would not run our air conditioner and temperature was in higher 90's so needed the A/C. We enjoy the park,so took another site. They did send someone to repair the plug and circuit breaker the following day, at the first site the following day, but too late for us. Most of this park has lots of shade trees, wonderful place to walk, lots of deer so just a great place to relax. But if you enjoy boating, jet skiing, fishing, etc., a great! Even though a bad experience this time, we will return. Love this park.

This campground was torn up during hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the owners are new since Katrina. They are friendly, very nice and helpful. Our campsite was a little hard to level, but have had worse. There are a lot of people staying at this park who are evidently permanent, but we just stayed one night and the campground was full the night we stayed due to it being so close to town for functions, etc. There are a lot of pot holes in the paved driveways, but maybe it just takes more time to get everything back in order after such a terrible hurricane. There was nothing really wrong with this park, but probably would not stay here, again.

This is one of the best campground we have stayed in. The site was gravel, but it was level. We also had cable TV as well as WIFI. WIFI worked at our site. The Laundry room was so clean and had all the extras that make washing and drying clothes less a chore when camping. There was even a TV in the laundry room. The restrooms and showers were very clean. The owners were very friendly and actually could not have been better. We stayed here only one night, but will definitely stay here, again, when in Nebraska.

We have stayed at Long Eagle Campground on the Lake twice. This time we booked full hookups and right on the lake so it was better than last year. It is a good place to walk (and boat, swim or fish) if you want to or like to. The campground Host, Lou and Sherry were terrific. We will return. The full hookups are limited so you do need to make your reservation early (maybe close to 1 year) if you enjoy full hookups.

This is our first time to stay at this park, but will return probably many times and stay much longer. We had only made reservations for 3 nights and were sorry that we had not planned to stay longer. The manicured lawns, the excellent staff, the clean bathrooms as well as the convenience of this park makes it terrific. It is within walking distance to the town of West Yellowstone and can book a tour into Yellowstone National Park if you do not want to drive in yourself. Some people might complained of how much it cost, but I would rather pay a little more and have the opportunity to stay in such a fantastic, well run Park. We will be back!!

We will be here for 5 nights, and it is a pretty campground, but sites are really close together unless you are one of the lucky ones backed up to the golf course. When making your reservation maybe request Row A unless they do not allow you to request a particular site. WIFI is, as one reviewing stated, yo-yo. Sometimes you can get on and other times you cannot. There are lots of trees and birds, which we enjoy, and convenient to the Safeway with good walking paths or sidewalks. There are only two washers and two dryers and with a campground this size needs more. We would stay here again.

This park is beautiful but needs more Ranger's or someone to make sure that the guest at each site are staying on their site. Also, too many dogs (and I like dogs)and too many tents on one site. This was more so on the weekend and I believe it was the locals who invaded other peoples sites. I booked Birch Loop 2 months ago, and glad I stayed there and not Big Creek, which also has full hookups. However, the power system is old in Big Creek and the sign said to limit how much electricty you used. Not good! The Host couple from Texas was friendly, helpful and good, but we will not stay here, again, due to no control over the people who seem to think they can pitch there tents wherever just because three or four couples (along with children and dogs) booked only one site. The sites at Birch Loop are large with lots of space and many pull throughs. We just think there should be a limit as to how many people are allowed on one site. We stayed in a truck/camper. Another thing that needs to be addressed is how fast the people drive. Even though it said 15 mph some people were going more like 35-40 mph. Reduce the speed to 5 mph and enforce it!!

We were only here two nights and had full hookups, but good thing. It was $3.00 to use the shower and that was for a very short time allowed. Their web site indicated (to me) that the campground was located near the Flaming Gorge, but it is not. It is 3 miles from the dam. However, the people were very helpful and friendly and there is a restaurant right on site where you could get WiFi, so we would stay here again.
